3 ingredients is all you need to make this delicious dessert
You will be amazed at how easy it is to make this dessert. All you need is 3 ingredients and 10 mins!! 10 mins guys! I made this the day before a party, dumped it into the fridge and brought it out to serve the very next day. To be honest I didn’t spend much time making this dessert but the results were spectacular!! Everyone was raving about how delicious it is. If only they knew I did it in 10 mins.

What goes into the Chocolate Coconut Mousse
Coconut Milk, Chilled
Unsweetened Cocoa powder
2 tbsp organic honey
Don’t you love it when you can actually serve a dessert with minimal ingredients. Who doesn’t. It saves time and money. Chilling the coconut milk is essential in this mousse as it helps the coconut milk to thicken before you beat it. What we are interested in is the thicken part of the coconut milk and not the liquid water that separates out after chilling. So thicken part= used to make mousse. The liquid part remaining = you can use it for other uses such as adding it to coffee/tea, curry etc. If you do not like chocolate, you can consider just whipping the coconut milk as a frosting for cake. It’s equally delicious. Check out my Coconut Cream Cake.

I use Ayam Brand coconut milk enhanced with coconut water for this recipe. It’s so delicious! LOOK AT HOW SMOOTH the mousse is!! And you can definitely taste that coconutty fragrance in your mouth. You can enjoy the Chocolate Coconut Mousse with berries on top. I love mine with fresh raspberries. They provide a tangy contrast to the sweet mousse. A match made in heaven indeed.
You can always melt some chocolate and drizzle them on top of the mousse. Never say never to too much chocolate. This recipe is definitely a keeper. So simple to do yet so delicious. Feel free to tweak the amount of honey added to the recipe. You can go healthier by reducing the honey or by using a coconut milk with lower fat content.
