It all started ONE FINE day with my friend requesting for lives in a group chat desperately. Clueless to it all, I probed further and was given a straight to the point reply ” Sheryl you should totally dl this game. It seems like your kinda game…” That was when I finally started on this candy crush roll. 30 Stages in one day- that was only the beginning of folly.
This is the kind of game that you pester and flood your friend’s facebook for lives when you ran out of them and after you’re done playing, you look back and wonder why the heck you wasted so much time on this game. But before you know it and rationalize through, you do the same darn routine the very next day!!!!
Thank goodness I’m at a level that I have been stuck for dayss, so the craze is slowly but surely dying away. I now have spare time for more productive things- For Example, baking a candy crush cake. LAUGHS. It was an utter joy making this cake as it feels so akin to playing the actual game. I made more of the special candies coz they look good on the cake (especially the cookie ).
Ever felt like eating the jelly beans and candies in candy crush, hesitate no more. You can absolutely do it for this cake! DELICIOUS, SWEET, AWESOMELY FUN!

Thanks Andrea!! Yes I use fondant for my candy pieces. For the border, I hand painted them using Wilton's red gel. 🙂

I agree..it all started with one click – "Install" and to this day Candy Crush Saga sits in my smartphone as wel as FB, ruling my pastime hours. Your blog is worth praising..especially the exceptional detailing of various elements of the game onto a superbly delicious-looking cream cake…How bad I wann eat it!!!
